Fusion Page - Saver Tool - Other Formats than OpenEXR

PostThu Sep 21, 2023 2:27 pm

Hi there,

on the Fusion Page, we can use the saver tool to export a composition or parts of a composition.

By default it does this in the .EXR format, but when we type another format ending like .png in the filename and choose "All Files (*.*)" then it will Export PNG files and give us the correct format settings for png files.

Some Users will not know this and expect we can only save EXR files.

Why can't we choose the filetype but have to type it in? We have to guess which formats it can export.
In Fusion Studio we can export formats like mov. When I try it with the described workflow it doesn't show the correct format settings.

It would be great if you show us all the formats we can export and let us choose it, and give us the option back to export mov and other video formats like in fusion studio.

Best,
