Smooth playback of 120/100 fps footage

Smooth playback of 120/100 fps footage on 24/25 timeline - it works in Premiere and FCP X - why does it stutter here - I know I can conform footage, but this are clips with audio and it will stay in realtime - and if you need to do some slowmotion - just put the speed of the clip to 25%

What is you source video format and resolution?
What is your hardware - computer, storage?

My videos play smooth.
DaVinci Resolve 18.6.6 Studio (macOS Monterey 12.7.4)
Mac Pro 2013, AMD FirePro D700, 64GB RAM

Film Editor, Colorist, DIT, Datalab technician
