Marker color is set by default on Blue color. The default blue marker is the most indistinguishable color on the current GUI layout, due to the blue render line above the timeline (both in Edit and Color page), but at the same time is the less distracting, and sometimes so fatally discreet that can be missed.

it would be great one or both of those options:
1. Let the user to customize the default marker color to avoid changuing the blue to another color each time.
2.
A great solution: When picking a marker color on the marker dialog while holding Shift (or alt) key, DVR will memorize that given marker color to be applied on the next default marker. this is great when we must set a serie of markers on the same context. So we don't need to apply the color each time.
I'm aware that we can insert custom coloured markers with specialized keyboard shortcuts, but the last option I've stated here seems to me a very smart solution rather than remember the dozen of keyboard shortcuts for each color marker.
