Better UI indicators that a grade has been disabled

PostTue Jul 14, 2020 8:20 pm

Related to my previous post about making Highlight mode more obvious, I would also like for there to be a more obvious indictor that a grade has been disabled, for the very same reasons.

An obvious way to indicate this state would be for the entire Node graph view (and not just the icons themselves) to "gray out" or have that "screened back" appearance that a locked track in the Edit page has. That way it's immediately obvious when the entire grade has been disabled, and your eyes don't have to scan for Bypass icon in the Viewer, or notice the white "Bypassed" text label at the top of the node graph.

I feel like your suggestion would work well with one of mine.

They're only somewhat related but both involve the Color page's UI being less static and giving people more feedback by contextually making changes to the palette area.
