Related to my previous questions on this subject, I would like to submit a feature request for Regular Expression (regex) support in all areas of Resolve that have a "pattern matching" option (e.g. Reel Name assist).
The current pattern matching operators are sufficient for most simple extraction tasks, but the lack of things like capturing groups, character-class matching and repetition limiting quantifiers makes it difficult, if not impossible, to handle more complex scenarios, such as this one, where I had to build reel names based on non-contiguous sections of the path/file name.
