'Mark selected' is great.
I'd love to have 'select marked' so clips, on auto-select enabled tracks, that fall between the in and out marks are selected. (Selection should extend beyond marks where clips do - so whole clips are selected, not partial clips).
Maybe already exists but I can't find it.?

Can you clarify? What are you trying to do here?

The same as Avid & PP - select clips between in & out, obeying track selection

To do what with them?
I ask because something like Copy already follows that behavior, even though the clips aren't technically 'selected' (outlined in red).

All sorts

Lifting up selected clips to higher tracks, collapsing to lower. Pasting attributes. Adding / removing effects. Adding colour tags to clips etc etc
On Avid/PP I have , and / set to select tracks forward/back and . to select in to out. Just trying to get my unified NLE keyboard sorted for Resolve

If you're moving those clips to another track, are you expecting that to include a Blade so that only that portion of a clip between In/Out is moved? (I would not like that, myself.)
For Pasting Attributes and other listed operations, I would argue the current clip selection methods are sufficient. I'm not seeing any advantage in BMD spending resources here.

I use this all the time, it's very useful so it would be nice to have it in DR. It's a big part of my workflow.
Basically, it's the reverse function of "Mark Selection" Shift-A by default. So since we have this, could we have the alternative version too?
Thanks
EDIT: I can already feel the reply: "then just use IN/OUT". Yes true. But in terms of priority, selected clips (highlighted in red in the timeline) have a priority over the IN/OUT marks. So it feels safer to use selected clips. It's part of a coherent workflow.
