audio mute in viewer

I work with multichannel sound and I would like to be able to select one or more tracks audio heart when viewing the rushes (in edit and in fairlight), without going through the clip attributes.

In 17, we can make adjustments to audio clips from the Inspector while they're still in the bin. They no longer need to be added to a timeline first.

Does that help?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I agree, it would be very useful!
I record all my videos via OBS with several separated audio tracks and one combined track, which turns the preview into a cacophony.

The first track is a combined sound from other separate tracks. And also here is part of the OBS interface with individual tracks.

I don't understand how I can configure tracks here.

What if you right click the audio file and go to clip attributes? From there at least you can turn off the tracks you don’t want. Sorry I don’t know how to just preview the tracks individually without putting them on the timeline as a group and soloing the tracks you want to listen too.

Thanks.
I just want to leave it here for others:

After all, this is not an Inspector, but a separate settings window.

Yes, I would like a slightly more convenient way, but for now this is enough.
