Speed Shortcuts, Stroke in hebrew.

PostThu May 13, 2021 12:04 am

creating speed ramping in davinci resolve is currently unintuitive and takes a lot of time for no reason.
no shortcut to open the curve editor for reltime speed, only for reltime frame which is not very important usually.
no shortcuts to add speed points, it can save a huge amount of time, it makes me create less speed points because it takes SO MUCH TIME, it cant be that hard to do, please, in premiere its available through macros and is very easy.

another thing, when doing a stroke for Hebrew letters on a text layer it makes it disappear and forces to use shadow which looks much worse and not professional. this is a bug since i had resolve 15, someone has to acknowledge this.

+1 for speed ramping being more intuitive. At the very least open to retime speed, rather than retime frame.

P.S. That has been requested many many times in this forum. Don't forget to search for an issue before posting.

+ 1 for more intuitive speed ramping.

Would love a shortcut for adding a speed point at playhead. Also, if the fly-out menu that opens when you click a speed triangle could be more like the "Change Clip Speed" dialogue, that would be perfect: a text field for custom speeds, radio buttons for exclusive options, checkboxes for booleans.

The speed menu needs some love. Cascading menus are slow, and having a quickly usable dialogue like the aforementioned static speed change makes more sense, considering creating speed ramps require multiple points and therefore multiple menu clicks.
