Reset dolby data

PostWed May 19, 2021 12:18 am

i could not find a way to reset the dolby analysis/trim for a shot without lose the whole correction.

What happen, a timeline setting was copied from a show that had dolby metadata, and copied to a timeline that does not need dolby at all (different project).

1) the dolby analysis and trim are copied to the clip EVEN IF i am in the timeline setting (that is a bug)
2) the assist started to do some grade here and there and copy/paste memories and now I have hundreds of shots with dolby analysis and metadata that does not mean anything and i want to get rid of it.
3) there si no way to select in a smart filter all the clips that have (or have not) dolby analysis and/or metadata trim associate it, and this is another old feature request.....

Cannot find an elegant way.....

this is still an issue.
While you can reset the trims, there is no way to tell the machine to "reset the dolby analysis and take the badge out"

Easy fix would be to change your Dolby version from 2.9 to 4.0 or vice versa.
If you do that trims will be wiped out but the color will remain the same.

That’s a terrible workaround, I wan to reset 10 clips out of 1000 and the workaround is wipe everything?

Yeah it wipes it all.
I was under the impression you wanted to wipe it all.
If you want to do just 10 clips out of 1000 ... this is a no go.
