Track Level Volume Keyframes

PostTue Jun 08, 2021 2:04 am

Howdy,

Something we've come across that would be useful would be the ability to mix audio either in the edit panel or in fairlight using manually created keyframes at the track level (as opposed to the clip level).

I'm aware you can do it via automation using the faders, but personally find this imprecise without outboard hardware.

Manually drawing keyframes into the automation track also seems to create a stack of unnecessary keyframes.

A typical setup example when mixing for us would be using submixes as follows
MUSIC
FX
DIALOG
VO

Then we would create automation for each of these submix tracks and dip the volume up and down as required.

Doing it manually via keyframing seems arbitrarily limited currently.

+1 !!!
Track Level Automation! Please!! :)

And while you're at it please add the ability to automate/keyframe parameters of AU/VST/VST3 plugins in that same matter (kinda like Logic Pro X does).

Thanks! :)
