Request: Negative default audio levels in Inspector

Could you please change the audio inspector in DVR to conform to every other audio app, and default manually entered levels in the audio inspector to NEGATIVE settings if entered without a sign? That is, require a "+" sign if values greater than zero dB are needed.

It's extremely annoying and also time consuming to have to reverse long held habits, not to mention damaging to speakers and ears—ours and client's—when we forget.

I would vote no on this. The + is assumed, the - needs to be specified. That's just how humans do numbers.

Sounds like the other programs get that wrong. They're not the ones to be emulated.
