I'm not sure the use-case for shared nodes to become locked by default, but it really slows down a feature film workflow. Can they simply be unlocked once created, or have the option to toggle this behavior off?
I understand how this might help new users slightly from making a mistake, but is very difficult to scale up to actually link all the camera angles over hundreds of scenes and thousands of clips.
The context menu in the node window is sluggish and not very responsive when unlocking a shared node (even on very high-end systems)--making the user wait for the context menu items to become click-able, or having to click things twice before they activate.
Shortcut key options for "Save as shared node" and "Unlock node" seem to be missing, and would really help make the Shared Node feature successful.
