Doing a bit of subtitling today... finding myself hampered by apparent lack of any function to find a given caption in the timeline. Assuming I've not just missed it somewhere then it would be helpful to have that ability added/

Possible places such function could be added might include:
a) adding a search filter directly to the captions' Inspector window
b) adding a 'Show Subtitle Track Items' option to the Edit Index window

I have the samedesires. was able to convert my subtitle srt to edl with this and import as markers and search with edit index

would be nice if there was a right click 'convert subtitles to CLIP markers' and have the markers on the clips not the timeline which the above workflow didnt do.
