My request is to display a spectrum analyzer into the EQ graphs (both on Fairlight EQ and Inspector on Edit/Fairlight page) to visually work with the EQs.
This will help to:
- Detect static frequencies
- detect the Q area to be cut on the EQ
- Measure graphically the loudness.
- Make the life easier to sound editors, reading the wave spectrum on the same way a colorist reads the scopes
This Spectrum Analyzer should work when the EQ is bypassed to allow measuring A/B test with EQ on and off.
Or Display both Previous Post graphs on two colors.
I've attached a snapshot of Fabfilter Q-3 plugin, which effectively shows the spectrum on the EQ area.
