Render In Place - Render at Source Resolution

PostTue Oct 19, 2021 1:27 pm

I often find myself moving clips to a new timeline to match the source resolution before doing a Render In Place, in order to retain any reframing capabilities. I shoot C4K and 5.9K and edit in a UHD 2:35 timeline, so I’m pretty much always reframing just a little. It would be so nice just to be able to Render in Place and retain the source media's resolution!

Nobody else? Render in Place is awesome, but when you’re doing it at the timeline level with larger resolution source media, you lose that resolution after rendering in place.

Yeah, the option to "Render at source resolution" would add flexibility.
