The ability to undo selections

I come from the 3d world and every piece of 3d software I've used has the ability to undo selections. And this is important because selecting the right faces, vertices or objects takes time, and messing it would be costly without undo.

Even photoshop supports undo for marquee selections.

In resolve, I'll often zoom out in the timeline, select a bunch of clips and then zoom back into move all the clips a few frames. But if miss click, whether is scrubbing, or I miss the clips, the selection disappears and i have to go through the process of selecting them all again. If I could just undo my mistake..

I know this is a rather fundamental thing, and some people may not like this, so making it optional might be the way to go.

it has sense, but it should be tested in real field

+1 But I do not want to create an undo state for each step of the selection, it would be better to create an undo state only when the selection is lost by an accidental click
