Auto sync based on in points

Switching to Resolve for the first time from Avid and Premiere. Lots of good features I am impressed with.
The sync based on Waveform function seems very unreliable though. I tried syncing clips based on in points instead, but this option is only available for multicam clips, not for "Auto Sync Audio". IMO it should be available there too.
