Edit open ofx save preset

PostTue Dec 14, 2021 6:05 pm

Most likely there is already a thread about it.

I could not find in teh software or manual a way to save a OFX i dropped in the edit page (like a camera shake Ofx) and be able to re-use it in other clips in other project in the same database.

That make the tedious task of applying the same setting on multiple clips in multiple projects really, well, tedious.

So, either I need to RTFM better, or, can we add the ability to save a fx after we put in a shot (like we can do it with dissolves IIRC) and be able to have it available through the database?

-thanks.

You can copy the Effect to an Adjustment clip by using Save and Paste Attributes, you can then save the Adjustment Clip in a Power Bin for later use.
Win 10 Home | Intel i7 - 10700f 64 GB 1 TB GB SSD 2 TB SSD
RTX-3060 12 GB | Resolve Studio 18.6.6| Fusion Studio 18.6.6

Win 10 Home | Intel Core I7-7700HQ 32 GB 1 TB NVME SSD 1 TB SATA SSD
GTX-1060-6GB | Resolve 17.4.6

Clever workaround, I have to try that.

Thanks!

Temporal NR can't be applied using an adjustment clip.
Is there a way to save a particular set of Temporal NR settings for frequent use in a project ?

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

But stills/gallery are not available from the Edit page, right ? (I'm using the Temporal NR OFX filter in the edit page)
