Display the edit on one sigle track when using the "Cut" pan
Hello everyone,
I'm brand new to Resolve, so maybe I speak of a feature which already exists and that I didn't find - but I don't think so. (sorry for my bad english, I will do my best!)
One of the more interesting things for me, in this software, is the ability to switch from the "Edit" panel (in which you can do most of the editing, and have a general view of its complexity), and the "Cut" panel (in which you can trim in detail and work on match cuts).
But while I find a lot of benefits in editing on several tracks (in "edit" mode), the "cut" mode is more efficient if all video clips are just on one track.
So would it be possible to invent an option which does this :
1) If, when you are on the "edit" panel, your edit looks like that :

2) ... but it would automatically display on one track when you go on the "Cut" Panel (like if any clip above had erased the videoclips beneath them), so you can work easily on match cuts:

Except of course for the video clips which have any kind of interaction with the track below (transition, opacity effect...), and which would stay on a second track in the "Cut" panel.
3) ... and after your change done, your edit would still be available in its initial disposition on several track when coming back to the "edit" panel, with the changes applied to it:

Maybe I'm the only one who would find a benefit to this, but it would make "cut" and "edit" panels even more complementary (using "cut" panel like an advanced "trim mode").
