Same zoom behaviour on Edit and Fairlight page please

Hi, just asking to solve this bug masked as a feature request:

Could you synchronize the behaviour of the "shift-Z" hotkey on both mentioned pages?

On Edit it works as expected: When you are zoomed into the timeline and press "shift-Z", you see the whole timeline. Then you can re-position the playhead, press "shift-Z" again and get back to the previous zoom level at the new playhead position.

On Fairlight, when you re-position the playhead and press "shift-Z" again, you get back to the previous zoom level, but not on the new playhead position, but the old one.

This behaviour was confirmed in several threads. This is one of them.

https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=129950&p=705458&hilit=timeline+zoom+fairlight#p705458

Could you confirm that this is meant to be like this, or if not, please repair the functionality on the Fairlight page.

BMD, please unify this mess between pages and FL modes

ufff, DVR dispairs so much between each editor (Cut Page, Edit Page, Failright). Each page acts like a totally different NLE, making the learning curve so high, forcing users to learn a different workflow for each page.

Plus, Fairlight has many fundamental options disabled for no reason, nit only the zoom behaviour you mention above, but marking features, disabled playback features, exotic copy and paste features which result in unexpected pasting behaviours.

It's hard to catch the editing workflow that BMD is trying to propose us for Fairlight and for Cut Page.

For instance, ripple cut is also disabled in Fairlight!

Plus Fairlight has 3 selection modes (Selection Mode, Range Selection Mode, and Edit Selection Mode) loaded with good intentions, which dispair so much between each mode, so genius edits you can do on "Edit Selection Mode" (which I personally love) can not be done on the other Selection modes and viceversa for no reason (an example is ripple cut disabled on some modes!). Those behaviours are so dispair there that may drive users nuts switching from mode to mode. Plus "Edit Selection Mode" lacks of a keyboard shortcut, so for any little edition one must go to the mouse and click to the toolbar. Focus and creativity goes away on this way that BMD proposes.

Plus Speed Editor being nearly useless when one leaves the Cut Page, and the Cut Page being useless when someone attemps to do elemental edits beyond cutting and trimming.

I hope BMD "resolves" this on DVR18, to unify this mess to avoid users switching from page to page and from mode to mode in Fairlight, including your fundamental "zoom behaviour" request.
