VST3 support on Linux
Posted: Sun Dec 26, 2021 5:20 pmNow that microphone input has been enabled within Resolve on Linux I'm finding myself working more with VO tracks. I was interested in some innovative plugins, such as Alex Audio Butler, but as they are usually VST3-based they are unavailable for Resolve under Linux.
VST3 support was recently introduced for Windows and MacOS and I'd like to see support extended to Linux as well. I'm not sure how many other users would also like to see this but given the persistence of so many Resolve-on-Linux users regarding the microphone issue, should this come to pass I imagine there would be some very happy users!
