Search options on the color page (and Fusion page)

I don't know if I'm missing something (and I don't know what terms to search for in the manual for it), but if it doesn't exist, I would like to see a quick way to search clips by name, and maybe a tree dots menu where we can select what kind of clips are showing up. Like "Fusion clips, Adjustmen clips, etc".

I almost always name my Adjustment clips, but it always a pain the find them in my 30-50-100 clips on the color page.

So that in combination of being able to do a right-click on the timeline, on an adjustment clip (or anything else) with a "open in the color page" would be perfect.

Same thing in the fusion page :P

PS.
I just discovered by chance that double clicking on the name of the clips on the color page and Fusion page, it toggles between the type of the clip, its name, and something else.

Using a right click does nothing, so I think adding a menu to the right click in this area would be the best place to place what I proposted

The Color page has a fairly comprehensive filtering/searching system:

You can't type any search term, but you can make a Smart Filter to search by lots of different metadata parameters. You can see here I have two, one for "John" and one for "Conor", which are both searching the clip names; for example:

This is only available on Color, and it would be great if it were on all pages. And yeah there's no standard option to to filter by Adjustment Clips.

But as you've named them, I would assume a Clip Name smart filter would work. The Smart Filter also has a "Clip Type" search, with options like Timeline, Multicam, Compound, Generator, Fusion. Adjustment Clips appear to be "Generator", so you could search on that which might be fine if Adjustment Clips are the only kind of generators you have, and/or if you combine it with another search term.

There is a menu for this, in the main menu under View:

I agree that a context menu would be good as well, accessible when right-clicking on the bolded text below the clip thumbnails.

Yeah the double-click toggles between the Timeline Thumbnail Info options.

I was thinking about a search box (maybe accessible from a right-click on the name of the clips), and when we start to type the name of any clips, it would just hide the ones that don't match the search. When the search box is cleared, every clip would be displayed as before.

The smart filters are great (I use them for the media pool), but not practical for what I'm looking for.

So we could find any video clips/adjustment clips/fusion clips in 2 secs, do what we need to do, clear the search box and voilĂ .

The "Toggle Bypass" button is the type of popup I'm looking for the clips strip on the Color and Fusion page. With a search box on the first line of the menu, and a check box with "All" selected on the second line. Without the All selected, it would just search for the clip name/real name.

I'm sure there is other ways to go about that, but that's my suggestions :)
