Decomposing/Un-syncing Synced Audio
When syncing field recorder audio and video with different timecode using either the "auto sync based on waveform" feature or "manually syncing" the audio timecode mirrors the video timecode after being synced?
This is causing problems later when trying to re-syncing the audio to the original field recorder files for post sound in pro tools since the original timecode from the audio file is lost during the syncing process.
It’s would be nice if Blackmagic would add a feature to "Decompose" synced audio to timeline or whatever they wanna call it.
Other products such as Avid Media Composer offers this.
