Video Transitions with noise

A common problem is: video fade from/to black creates banding when 8 bit rendering.
WHAT IF:
Transitions holds inside automatically a small amount of noise or debanding effect?
It would be unnoticable for fades between clips and very useful to avoid losing time each time to tweak that.
