segment : files MXF

hi

i write for all people that who do have the camcorders (filesystem FAT32) so that is limited records to 2GB, will be many segment files.

so for Resolve davinci actual: i make compound each shots. but resolve does not to help this case. so i wish to ask to team developers make it add new feature.

[future] new feature for resolve:

++ in media pool, in Bin: there are many files (segment) , select files for one shot, make it compound
(directly, without go to EDIT: insert files segments and make it compound, so this is not intuitive). or other new functional for group/compound for segments for one shot.

++ after compound so resolve will remove the list (segments singles file mxf in list) because there are new compounds in list so will make it easy organized.

++ if we need check the compound (inside there are sements for checking files remove or add o watch).

after this compound so i will can check in "sync Clips" if i need check timecode, for example.

I think Resolve already supports this, but maybe it's for specific cameras. If I recall correctly Resolve can successfully combine files for the Canon C300 (Mark I) without any user interaction. But you have to make sure to offload the whole card, not just the video files.

ok, i understand: that card memory has other files (cif, sif,xml) will be automatic compound.. but if i receive the files from clients so i need this little feature "automatic"..how..?
