On shows with a large number of VFX shots, it can be a pain to manually import mattes to their matching shot numbers one by one. It would be lovely if there were a way to auto-import and attach mattes to their corresponding shots via matching TC and/or reel name. Someone correct me if I'm missing something that allows me to do this.

my prefered answer to date is to have an assist or VFX editor do that deed
better a machine to do rote tasks
