Live preview for Project Settings > Color Management

PostThu Jan 13, 2022 1:06 pm

It would be great that changes on Project Settings>Color Management are shown on the viewer straight when selected, without having to Save the settings each time, as Resolve FX Color>Color Space Transform does.
Also it would be great that those changes can be undone.

If you hold the option/alt key while clicking "Save" the dialogue window will stay open and you can check the changes being applied.

Great feature suggestion!

Thanks for the keyboard tip - would be nice if it were made discoverable in some way.

Good tip, however, if you click cancel to discard the change after alt+Save, the setting is not restored to the previous state.

I don't see a reason why you'd want to test different settings and then cancel your changes. Color Management is not something you creatively decide to change after the fact. You set it right from the start and roll with it.
