Lock/unlock Color grade

PostFri Jan 14, 2022 7:34 pm

It would be great to be able to lock the color grade for individual shots or entire tracks. It's too easy to bump a wheel or knob on the panel while on the Color page and inadvertently change an approved grade.

I've asked before for the ability to lock individual nodes from any changes in color. No luck so far.

Right clicking on a node brings up options which include locking. Not something I have used, but it may fit the bill.

1) it's ONE NODE at a time (you cannot select 10 nodes and just do it)
2) the request is for example, flag a track and say "lock color for this track" very useful when we do Dolby passes (as long as Dolby is still active), avoid bumps during reviews or do pan/scan of movies without changing color.
