Save clips from scene detection

I have several old video files, duration 1 hour or more, that I want to split into scene clips. If I use the Scene Detection function in the Media Page I can do so, but is there any way to save those generated clips on the disc, preferably with sequence numbering?

Add them to a timeline and export as Individual clips.
