Hello DaVinci Resolve guys.

There is annoying little bug:
when selecting STROKE in the

subtitles hebraw + english

subtitles (ST1/ST2)/TEXT channel using Hebrew Fontes
in the WINDOWS STUDIO version.
the Hebrew fonts getting lost.
I'm waiting for this to be fix about 2 years (from ver 16.2).

Please Please I'll appreciate if you can fix it soon.

Oh god, yes, please fix that bug!
Many clients don't like the ugly dark background which is currently necessary in Hebrew, ans that forces me to use Premiere Pro for some of the work (and that made a colleague question my choice of using Resolve in the first place).

DaVinci actually "handles" Hebrew very well in all other aspects, so this specific bug is a complete anomaly.

Thank you @dovklein for raising this issue.

Oshra.

Hi Peter,
This bug has been there as long as there were subtitles in Resove (V14 I think).
Only on PC and still present on the last version.
There were many post about it in the past. It will be great to get a fix for it.
Thanks.

After "talking it up" I got a client to let me use Resolve for a project, in spite of him preferring Premiere Pro, and eventually had to go Premiere to edit the subtitles... So Premiere kind of had the last laugh in that argument.

I asked the support service and they told me that in davinci 18.6 you are able to paste text into resolve by the subtitle and it works... i haven't updated can someone check if it really works

I also opened a new page in the feature requests for hebrew(yiddish) subtitle-transcribe
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=191086&p=993683&hilit=hebrew#p993683
