With the current Dolby Atmos integration, it's not possible to apply binaural monitoring VST plugins because no VST insert is made available on the Dolby Atmos bus like other multichannel busses. In Steinberg Nuendo it allows VST plugins to be applied after the Dolby Atmos Renderer in order that binaural monitoring is possible via 3rd party plugins. Such binaural monitoring is only possible in Davinci by routing the speaker outputs to a 3rd party multichannel VST host or looping back the Davinci Resolves 7.1.4 speaker output back into a 7.1.4 bus which is a kludgy workaround.
Please could either a VST-enabled Dolby Atmos monitoring bus be made available, or a way to patch the Dolby Atmos renderers output to a multichannel bus without having to use the speaker outputs. Thank you!
