The dashed thru-edit indicator is pretty subtle. Too subtle for me to see if I'm rippling a clip trying to find the nearby frame that shows the thru-edit and will allow me to join the clips.
I usually resort to opening one clip, going to the end, moving one frame right, copying the TC, then opening the other clip, pasting the TC, going into Trim mode, and setting the clip's OUT point.
This is a lot of work. Perhaps there's an easier way. Making the thru-edit indicator more visible is one tiny tweak that would permit a simpler flow.
