Offset default to HDR + Temp & Tint in HDR Palette.

PostTue Oct 18, 2022 12:34 pm

Good Day,

It seems when I use offset mode in the HDR palette it still changes the Temp & Tint in the primaries palette. Is there any way to change it to adjust the HDR Temp & Tint? If not this would be incredibly useful feature and I would like to request it as I do all my balance with HDR.

Thank you for your time.

tbh I don't see a benefit of having the primary palettes temp and tint over there, but I never use them anyway

+1 because it just makes more sense. I saw this requested a couple of times already

It would be fantastic to have a toggle option to swap between so everyone will be happy.

Would be really cool if we could hold a modifier key while dragging the color wheels to provide finer control. I realize that we could get finer control with a control surface but when on the road with a laptop, sometimes the color wheel controls are too sensitive to the touch. Does that make sense, Peter?

The HDR wheel on the control surfaces is hyper sensitive by comparison to lift/gamma/gain/offset. Is there already a method for tweaking this?

Hello Again,

I would also like to propose that there be a setting that the default palette resolve jumps to when pushing offset on any panel is HDR, or pushing it twice in quick succession gets you there, with the option of the first click being either HDR or Primaries.

I have purchased a mini panel and it is still rather laborious to get to the HDR palette and odd to use the small knobs for temp and tint.

Thank you!

+1 to this and Temp/Tint control mentioned earlier in the thread.

Also When working in the HDR palette, it would be great if the LUM MIX knob could change over to operate as black offset (as there is no Lum mix equivalent, that I'm aware of, in the HDR palette).

I can't believe this hasn't been implemented yet.
The rings should affect the actual HDR control if in the HDR palette, and the temp/tint is very different to the one in the primaries, both should be available in the panel.
