Davinci Resolve Studio version 1.8.1.1 build 7, Windows 10
In the media page I can select the columns shown by right-clicking a column and selecting from a list, then drag the columns around to re-order them. I'd like to be able to do the same thing in the cut page, when list view is selected.
What happened is that I brought in a bunch of clips, then in the media page added a description and comment to each one. Those give me hints about which clip I'm looking for, the idea being that it's quicker to just scan down a list of descriptions than to look at each one and figure out whether it's the one you want to insert next.
Then I went to the cut page, and only then realized you can't do that there. The only workarounds I've found are:
If I could show the description and comments columns on the cut page I wouldn't have to keep flipping back to the media page.

Then I went to the cut page, and only then realized you can't do that there. The only workarounds I've found are:
- Open the inspector and select "File", then select a clip to view its comments (but not description). That doesn't show me a nice list, though -- just the details for the selected clip.
- Scroll the media list all the way to the right, where there's a comments column (again, no description). It doesn't show much text, doesn't pop up hover-over text, and resizing the field is a pain because the last column doesn't have a right-hand handle for resizing, as far as I can tell (so you have to shrink the other column rather than growing the comments column).
- Flip back and forth between the cut page and the media page. Flip to the media page, select a clip, flip back to the cut page. This is the only way I have found to see both the description and the comments.
If I could show the description and comments columns on the cut page I wouldn't have to keep flipping back to the media page.
