Sometimes it is too awkward to precise control colors.

Are you running PC or MAC?
I don't know about a MAC, but in Windows you can adjust the mouse sensitivity in the Control Panel/Mouse menu.

I second this. Having the ability to hold shift or alt or both while clicking and dragging the colour wheel guide would be so helpful for adjusting colours very slightly. Additionally, having the ability to click and drag over the image while holding shift (for instance) to change the particular brightness with dragging the mouse across the image and then holding alt (for instance) to adjust the hue & saturation! Just a little thing that will really help make this program work splendidly, more than it already does!

I mean not global mouse speed, but reaction color controls for mouse movement. There are panel settings. Mouse settings will be useful, too.

Isn't that what Panels are for?

I can reduce mouse movement speed but it reduces on-screen movement speed which is not desirable. The controls sensitivity should be adjustable, be it using modifier keys or adjustments via settings, anything would be a big improvement.

Sliders under the color wheels and in color bars mode can be controlled with mouse wheel, but it also feels overly sensitive - the step seems to be fixed to 0.01 which is too large.
