Select any media > Reload

Right click on any media > "Reload" : updates its content to the latest version on disk.
Instead of having to quit resolve just to update a file. :D

Isn't there a refresh button in teh media page? (I might be mistaken...)

No button. Resolve has been automatically updating footage since v18. Not sure why it's not working for you guys.

Yeah, but IIRC there is a preference somewhere that need to be on….

No, the automatic reloading works with still images, image sequences, and videos of the same length, so growing files don't really have anything to do with it.

Below is an example of it working on a still image. The video was recorded to demonstrate a different issue. You can skip to 47 seconds to see that I just drag the playhead out and back in and the clip changes:
