Stabilization without opening the Inspector

PostFri Jun 30, 2023 12:37 am

- Keyboard shortcut to Stabilize the selected(s) clip(s) (equivalent to Stabilize button on inspector)
- User defined default-values for the 6 parameters of the Stabilizer -> as User Preference, or as "set as default" option on inspector

To make appear Stabilize as Keyboard shortcut, it should appear as a menu option when right clicking a given clip.

The User defined default values for Stabilizer can be a User Preference value, or a "set as default" option would appear somewhere on inspector, on the same way we create favourites in Media Pool.

The result would be stabilization of the selected clip with ONE SINGLE keystroke.

Currently we must move the pointer to the inspector, browse the inspector, open the stabilizer tab, setting our personal starting-point values which are different than DVR default values, then click "Stabilizer button".

Much efficient and faster on the proposed way.

Wasn't that added in the 18.5 Beta?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I'd like a Stabilize shortcut that works in the Media Page.

You may be thinking of stabilising multiple clips in one operation.
Resolve 19.1.2 Mac OSX 15.3 Sequoia, Monitor 3G, FSI SDI grading monitor.
Mac M1 Studio Max 32GB
