Frame Counter Node

PostThu Oct 26, 2023 11:39 pm

Would be nice if there was a fast and easy Frame Counter effect, even if it's just a preset, say listed under Timecode in the Text+ node, or a separate node of it's own. And I understand, that an expression like...

Text(string.format("%05d", time))

...can be done, but forcing new users especially to learn scripting just to enable a standard, basic function is ludicrously divergent from being what I'd call "user friendly." And the same for the Cut, Edit and Color pages.

Would this work in the Data Burn-In palette?

That doesn’t work well if timelines are starting at hour one; 86400 is the start frame.
