Selection follow playhead - on any track that is enabled

Personally I find it annoying that "Selection follows playhead" on the Edit page in my view "underperforms". I would like it to select the clip that is playing, not just the clip of the bottom track.

So a setting/function for this would be cool:
- "Old style" - as it currently works
- "Any clip on any enabled track - meaning if I have auto-selection enabled on a track, the if a clip is playing on the selected track, no matter which track, then that clip is selected.

Seems to me at this time, the function does not really perform to its full potential.
