Here are some feature requests regarding the transcription options:

* Allow users to select the microphone to be used directly from the Transcribe window.
* Implement "Character" voice recognition to enable the exclusion of the Interviewer's speech. This feature would also allow us to display a specific speaker's transcription to distinguish who said what in a multi-person interview.
* Enhance search capabilities by making all transcriptions searchable.
* Introduce a new bin column to display transcribed text for a specific clip. This feature would facilitate sub clipping an interview by content and allow users to view the transcript from the bin.
* Provide the option to manually add our own transcriptions for unsupported languages. For instance, users should be able to convert subtitles created by a translator into a transcription.
* Export to text with Timecode

Great suggestions. The transcribe feature is pretty mind blowing already. I can't wait to see what they do with it. Hopefully some of these (particularly character detection and searching IMO.)

I'd add:

The ability to specify searching for whole words or not (right now it seems like it only wants to find whole words). Sometimes I just need a piece of a word, or if I want a person to say "It's better" instead of "They're better" I can look search for "It's b" and get any word that starts with B to cut in. So much of dialogue editing is crafting sentences phonetically.

The AI is also too clever sometimes in that if someone starts a thought, pauses after a couple of words and restarts the sentence the AI will just ignore the false start. It's editing the transcript, which isn't always helpful. A checkbox to get rid of false starts and filler words like "um" would be helpful.
