Hello
It would be really helpful that we could import/export XML subtitle files for DCP creation purposes, instead of only SRT (which can't include subtitles positionning).
We purchased Easy DCP plugin in order to do DCI mastering on Resolve. But we often have to create SMPTE DCPs with closed captionning and need to have the ability to edit subtitles on the timeline and export directly DCPs with XML subtitles from Resolve.
I am also really surprised that we can't even open a XML subtitled DCP on Resolve. Subtitles just won't follow through the timeline, so we can't do a full QC of our DCP.
It would be also really helpful that we could see the reels when opening a DCP with Resolve and not just have a whole clip on the timeline. (only audio is divided per reel)
We are working on Resolve 18.2.
Maybe that's also a request for Fraunhofer Easy DCP as well. I will forward this to them.
