Been discussing dailies creation on a Resolve group and found the main things that seem to be lacking for creating dailies in Resolve. And it's not a long list.
1. The ability to shift in subframes is fantastic, but the problem is that we cannot zoom in to view the sync point very well. There's no option to make the waveform bigger or smaller at all on the media page. Sync'ing on the edit page does nothing since any changes there are not reflected in exports using individual clips.
2. ALE's have the information for Name and Display Name. But when you attach an ALE in avid using the default ALE from Resolve, that information does not come across in the proper column. We need the ability to have the names changed come across in editorial. There are tools online to do this, but why add the extra step?
3. When selecting takes, do not have "good takes" translate to a #. Have them become an *. No editor I've ever worked with wants a # for select takes.
