Please remove transform limits

PostThu Nov 09, 2023 1:00 pm

Not sure why there is a limit in place

I tend to make a PNG of my credits for something, shove it in the NLE and do a slow position move but Resolve blocks me past 4320 on the Y axis (in 4k) and around 7680 on the X axis

Can we get these limits higher?

Does anyone know a way around this for scroll text and credits? Text + has the same limitations, scroll credits can barely be modified so they're pretty much useless if you want to add any underlines or bold text, so it just feels like I have to do credits in a different NLE

I believe the Transform effect (which you add manually) has more freedom. Try that.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Do it like this and there are virtually no limits and you are much more flexible:

You can also add your logos collection to the scrolling credits, you just need to learn some Fusion basics, nothing fancy.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.
