Should be self-explanatory. Contextual menu item, Make New Fusion Comp from clip. And the resulting Comp will have the same stats as the clip, and inside the Comp, the clip connected to MediaOut, and the Comp named after the clip.

Be nice if the Comp name appeared somewhere in the UI when open. Like the Timelines pop-up, a list of open Comps.

And please, if a Fusion Comp is in a timeline and one switches to the Fusion page, that DVR opens the Fusion Comp, not a Fusion Clip with clones of the Comp nodes. That's SO confusing!

You know there's a major problem with Fusion? (If you just fixed it in the latest update, sorry, on a job, so I'm not updating until finished). If one creates a Fusion comp, works in it, then puts it in a timeline, then switches to the Fusion page rather than opening the Fusion Comp back up again from the Media Browser, then one is working in a VERSION of the Fusion comp that is only attached to the footage - the Comp itself does NOT get updated.

Here's how you're going to fix this situation - whenever a Fusion clip is created from something in the Timeline, DVR is going to create a Fusion Comp for it, unless one already exists, in which case the existing Comp will be used. IMHO it's the only logical solution.

You want the same mechanism of the Remote Version from color page for Fusion on, don't you ?
it could be a good idea if you can still choose between Remote and Local
