I really wish we had the ability to keyframe and animate audio clip effects via the inspector panel with bezier and ease controls.
Resolve is doing so many amazing things by bringing the toolkits of an NLE and a DAW together, especially with advanced options like Dolby Atmos. That's why it's a little mind-boggling that the basic functionality to easily manage audio plugin effect controls when applied to clips is missing. It's a bit like having your hand tied behind your back while conducting an orchestra.
I understand that there is some functionality via track effects (through automation,) but it's a huge step backward from individual tools like Premiere, Audition, and ProTools that already have both ways to keyframe. That's especially apparent when you can see that the functionality is already in the program on the video effects side.
I think there is a real missed opportunity right now in Resolve's ability to manage complex audio design and mix tasks for immersive scripted content/animation and audio fiction. I hope it's something the Blackmagic Design team will consider resolving

quickly.
