Please Lock the Node Window

I think I've mentioned this once or twice in the past, but I was reminded of this today at lunch by colorist Tony Salgado:

Could we please have the ability to LOCK THE NODE TREE POSITION in the node window?

What that means is: for those of us using large fixed node trees, it'd be nice if every time we opened a session or returned to the color page, the Node Tree would be in the exact same position in which we left it.

I don't mean "Clean Up Node Tree," because in many cases this will screw up the position of complex node trees with branches and layers and all that stuff. I just want it to stay stuck in a fixed position.

This would help our productivity quite a bit, and reduce the annoyance factor by an order of magnitude (at least in some setups).

this and having a grid to which nodes can snap to would make the node editor so much better

Like in fusion.
Sometimes I hope they decide to stop developing for one year all feature and rebuild from zero an unified interface for all rooms, where we can grab the best of every section.
- Node from fusion interface with snap etc
- Dopesheen from fusion (many people don’t like be cause not understanding the power behind it of key frame editing)
- Curve editor from (some other software)
- Many tool from cut to edit page like smart edit
- Ability to add Ofx in edit page like single node to color page, to avoid to have different operation at different level of render order (like c4d do with nodal materials uber, that you use and create in common visual way, but behind of it there is a complex nodal structure build from software, but if you not need of node, not see them).
I told ability not common work for who like old way
- ability to reduce a bit size of font, often I teach resolve on fhd projection and it all a open close windows.

Yes, having a grid line as an option (like Fusion) would be helpful as well.

I dunno if I could also ask (again) for the Resolve Color input/output connectors to rotate as they do on Fusion Nodes, because maybe that would be pushing my luck.
