Deliver full quality

I'd always been under the impression that deliver will render everything at their best settings. i.e. it automatically turns proxies off if they're being used (right???) I just found out that if you uncheck 'High Quality' in Fusion, it will actually deliver at the lower quality. The only reason I could imagine unchecking that for is to get closer to full playback speed during editing. Is there a real world benefit for NOT automatically rendering at high quality? If it's render time, you'd obviously render at a lower bitrate or resolution.

There are a lot of settings in Resolve for better and for worse. Many need to be set every project. Between you and me, I use Resolve to edit, not to become a professional settings changer.

All edit-based slowdowns (including but not limited to the two above) should be disabled on delivery.

Using proxies, optimized media, and render cache already default to "unchecked."

Debayer and sizing quality default to current project settings and have options to force to highest.

I'd rather have a checkbox to force Fusion quality to highest, especially given I primarily render in codecs like ProRes or DPX where I don't have granular control over the bitrate. At that point, I'd save a render preset with a useful name and spend two minutes double-checking my settings before rendering. (I also utilize presets and template projects quite frequently to eliminate potential missed settings, but I still check them all out of habit.)

We can create Project and Delivery Presets to make the task easier.
