A slew of requests I've been meaning to send for a long time, but excited to see what's coming in the future!
Here are a few that would make my life and workflow a little better:
Stabilizer Related Requests!
Stabilizer Preset that can be saved, ex: Translation with Cropping Ratio: .5, Smooth: .25, Strength: 1.00 Camera Lock: Off, Zoom: On. or Similarity .75/.5/.45 Off On, etc. Presets could ideally be assigned a keyboard shortcut..?
- Ability to select multiple clips to stabilize by highlighting/selecting clips in the Lightbox (ideally using the currently selected/enabled preset)
- Stabilize with outpainting: create the frame outside the captured image with AI so the shot doesn't need to get punched in as far
- Command/shortcut to track stabilization/windows into the handles by default frame amount set as handles length or it's own length in settings? Should also apply to Magic Mask (which should be able to cache or lock its analysis so it's not constantly lost if something changes upstream)
- any improvement to stabilization for very wide-angle cinematography..
General Requests
- any improvement to lens correction for very wide-angle cinematography. - would love more options on the varibles of the correction.. Edit Page slider and Resolve FX are very limited
- Media management maintains all metadata (like clip color, flags, keywords, etc.) when a copy or transcode occurs.
- Different versions of a Remote Grade can be in different groups instead of having to make it a Local Grade? (know that may not fly, but would help me at times.)
Smart Filters for
- Stabilization (with options for all Stabilization Modes (Perspective, Similarity, Classic, etc)
- FX Tracker
- Clips with Remote Versions
- Clips with Local Versions
- If a shot has more/less than X Remote Grade Versions
- If a shot has more/less than X Local Grade Versions
- Smart Filter a specific Remote Version # or Name
- Smart Filter a specific Local Version # or Name
- If a shot has a Remote Grade Active
- If a shot has a Local Grade Active
- Search inside CSTs for colorspaces eg Contains Color Space Transform contains/does not contain Arri LogC3
- Shots with a specific LUT (contains/does not contain example.cube) or specific DCTL (contains/does not contain example.dctl)
