Please let Compound clips be resized without cropping

If you have a 1920x1080 compound and put it in a 1080x1920 timeline, it will be cropped on the sides with the information just gone, please let us have the full compound clip without it being cropped :'(

By default, I think it's okay that the compound clips gets its resolution from the timeline, but what I would like to see personally is a new option, like a checkbox, and when selected (during the creation of the compound clip or from a right click on it in the media pool), it would work exactly like how it works in an images editor.

Affinity photo goes further than Photoshop for example. All layers keep their native resolution until you rasterize them. So you can change their size an any point without loosing quality.

And if deselected, the compound clip would just act like before, inherit its resolution from the timeline.

I've run into this problem before but I don't know if it is a bug or not.
