Hi Blackmagic Team, here are the things I like the most in the recent update (from the perspective of someone who uses mostly fusion and the edit page):
Improved Performance for large fusion compositions: I noticed a really big improvement on my system, especially with expressions. Really nice, since i like to make macros and there you often need big node trees with expressions. I think thats good because resolve still lacks plugins/tools compared to after effects and premiere and improving performance definitly encourages people to create more advanced tools/macros, so great addition for the future of resolve in my opinion!
Premade Stinger Transitions/Effects/Titles/Transitions: They are just so good compared to other softwares templates ive tried. I really like that they are including popular effects like the hologram transition:
The USD system: I really like that resolve cares to push the development there. The shader node is great and allows for so much more detailed materials! I also like how fast the usd system renders high poly models, although it crashes more then the regular 3d. One big feature missing for me is a better render engine but im sure thats on the roadmap! Excited to see whats to come in this system!
I also really like the fact that resolve seems to be working close with nvidia there, for example how the urenderer is using rtx. That makes me really optmistic for the future since nvidia is such a good company when it comes to 3d rendering!
There is more, but those are my favourite additions, looking forward to version 20!

and not some 10 year old boring transitions. And they are great way for beginners to learn how to create those effects and are generally so useful! So thanks for that!
